Perhaps a way to fix this would be to increase the cost of new tables slightly but then award two stars per island hit on the 2nd table, three stars per hit on the 3rd, etc., to better give the player something to work for and improve at. Stars are harder to get on all tables after the first, so they only exist for high score but since high scores don’t come with star rewards, the first table is always the best for gaining stars. Most notably, there’s nothing incentivizing the player to actually play the later tables.
An example of holding the ball in this position is shown in the second screenshot below.I really love the concept of this game but I find the design falls a little short. One of the better ways to score a lot of points in this game is to get the ball on the left upper flipper and then hold it in position then repeatedly hit the coin above that flipper worth 500 points.The game does not have a magic post stopper peg between the flippers.
You can then hit the ball with the upper right flipper to have it bounce off the bumpers near the top of the screen.Shooting the ball into that leads to the ball coming out near the top of the playing field on the right side.There is a cellar hole ball capture with three red arrows near it on the left side of the screen.The ball and flippers move much faster than in our other online pinball games.When your game has ended the next one begins. There is no welcome screen nor a game over screen. Playing this game with sound on makes the experience feel much more authentic than with sound off.Your stats are saved automatically in your local web browser. Your most recent score along with your all time best score are shown at the top of the screen.Use the left and right arrow keys to hit the left or right flippers.Release to shoot the ball up through the shooter lane and into play.
